Born and raised in America one thing I have seen to be true , that is running after strange whatever. Most americans care less about tradition or what has proven to be the right thing or the best thing , its the new and unproven thing that we run after. Hey I heard that there is a new way to inherit eternal life , people will run after it, I found another way to God around jesus Christ , people go running after, It seems people are quick to defend foolishness than the truth. We are always to respond in the spirit of Christ if we are in the spirit of Christ. We who are saved are saved seven days a week so are we to defend the the gospel. We must speak the truth though it many times it may cost us something nothing can compare to what the truth caused Jesus Christ.
