It’s been quite some time since Notre Dame held fast to the teachings of the Catholic church. Bottom line … there’s no such thing as finding middle ground when it comes to matters of life and death and family.
Christians need to be more vocal in standing up for God, regardless of the opposition. The Bible says that Christians are supposed to be different, that believers are supposed to have seasoning. Folks get too caught up in being polite and refusing to acknowledge that wrong is wrong.
According to the Word of God, President Barack Obama is clearly on the wrong side of this issue. If Christians truly believe that since God is for us, who can be against us, then why are we so timid about standing up for the Lord?
What’s even more ridiculous is that there are a number of pastors who are leading the charge in ignoring the President’s positions of these issues. This is crazy and by any measure it makes no sense. The church is asleep and doesn’t seem to want to wake up. My prayer is that all these pastors, ministers and church folk who are ardent supporters of the President will be touched by God and finally recognize the truth about the man who holds the most powerful position on the planet.
      Lord help us all.

      Craig,

Aren’t we to obey governmental authorities until they require us to not do something God commands us to do (or vice-versa)? Where are we commanded to interrupt speeches of people that are in sin, when they have the floor?
