Mrs. Phelps is making an erroneous connection, in my opinion. She assumes God is somehow directly responsible for the deaths of US soldiers in the middle east, because of homosexual activity in the US.
Does she think no more soldiers would die in the middle east if the US made all homosexual activity illegal? The violent Islamics in the middle east won’t stop being violent based on who sleeps with who here at home.
If the US brought our soldiers home, there would be no more soldier funerals. Who would the Westboro Baptist Chruch blame or picket then?
It is NOT Christian to stand on the sidelines and cheer when we see other human beings suffer or die.

your exactly right, thats what Satan does! the comments by Shirley Phelps were totally demonic. It didnt even sound like she was speaking for herself. It is Satan professing to be a voice of righteousness. This is not the message of warning people of the wrath to come. this was totally twisted, demonic cancer and I dont even think the unsaved public are naive enough to actually think she is speaking on behalf of Christians. she’s on a Jim Jones kind of vibe. she needs deliverance! I pray she gets it

I started out KJV, transitioned to the RSV, but over time found it a little liberal in its translations, then went to the NIV and finally have seemed to land on the ESV. I do however use many other translations in my personal study through the various Bible software programs I use (Wordsearch and Logos).
