God.  In as much as the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against ALL ungodliness, God himself is America’s biggest threat.

The greatest threat to America today is America . We have not just fallen but greatly fallen from grace. Our spiritual leaders are failing our morals are becoming destitute , even our gov. not to say I expect alot of morality there but legislation is becoming more ungodly everyday. We really dont need to worry about attacks from other countries we are destroying ourselves by putting our trust in ungodly men instead of  our trust in the Lord Jesus Christ and if Jesus is not your Lord then lets talk . I must say Dr. Brown is good for adding wrinkles to our spiritual brain.  God bless you!

I believe that many churches are holding back because they are not teaching the word of God the way it is. We need to teach the people the word as is; Many churches are involve in many “events” that its not helping people to grow spiritually. My pastor always says “If you have two dogs one black and one white; which dog is going to win a battle? The dog that ate more will feel strong. The same way is with us Christians if we don’t learn about God we are going to be week, and we are holding ourselfs back

I commented on the air about what is holding us back, I mentioned that we should look our Jewish roots, remember the congregation of yeshua did not look like we do today, so if this work for them why we keep trying to reinvent the wheel. I can feel that Dr. Brown has a concern with this movement of Jewish roots due to the fact that some believers will use it as a mean of justification (legalism). This movement only purpose is to ground believers in the real faith in the God of Israel, not Sunday morning services, and keep believing that the power of the spirit was only for the first century church, this is a blasphemy against God.

May the Lord bring Light to our lives

      Question for Dr Brown:

What do you think about the book “Days of vengeance” by David Chilton?

I heard your past radio program yesterday entitled “What is holding the church back?”  Well, I heard many many people call in to answer the question with various ideas of what they believe is the problem.  I didn’t hear what I believe to be the root of the problemand if you could bring this up on your program again (if possible) it would be greatly appreciated.  I believe that what I’m about to tell you is the real root cause of why we as believers are so reluctant.  Here it is:  Our message is wrong.  We (the majority of the church) teach the wrong thing to every person who professed faith in Christ as give them a message that, after a while, only becomes another good idea among many in a world of pluralism full of ideas.  I became extremely frustrated with powerlessness and I decided to see it and call it for what it is.  I always felt that whenever I spoke with someone about Jesus who was sick or crippled that I could only give them a message of forgiveness when they already felt like God was punishing them with their condition.  They have a hard time believing that God truly loves them because they already saw they’re physical ailment was God trying to teach them a lesson making God some kind of tyrant.
We’ve taught a message of salvation that only speaks of redemption of the soul but ignores restoration of the body as part of the redemption process.  The message that we claim to preach is only about forgiveness but is devoid of healing.  We treat forgiveness as the ultimate message of the gospel, but the scriptures say different.  According to Jesus, the disciples, and the early church their message and minstry was this:  “The Kingdom of God is come.  God has sent His Son to forgive you of all your sins and restore you back to Himself.  I am here to proclaim that you are free.  Let me show you…” then the sick would be healed, the deaf would hear, the dead were raised up, which would prove to the people that what the church proclaimed was true…that the Kingdom of God has truly come, that God executes judgment and righteousness for all who are oppressed.
If the Gospel is only about forgiveness it only gives hope for the future (after you die) but not necessarily for the present.  The message of the Gospel gave people hope for the NOW and their faith in God’s mercy was strong because He showed them mercy by healing them of their sickness or deisease.  This made them so convinced of the gospel message that they gave their lives for it.  The reason the church here in America has such fickle faith is because we’ve been taught half the message for so long that we refuse to acknowledge the reality for the other side of coin.  That God has sent His Son to restore man in every way.  That is why it is called gospel…good news.  It truly is good news.
If you read the New Testament, the preaching of the gospel literally altered the fallen physical world around the people of God to conform it to the will of God.  The physically sick (or maimed/crippled), people with missing limbs, had their bodies literally physically restored.  Those that were literally physically dead had life restored to their physically dead bodies.  The skeptics and unbeleivers of today are hell bent on believing only in the physically world with secular thought.  If our Gospel does not change or alter physical the world before their eyes, then they have no incentive to believe that what we tell them is true.  All they have are arguments with no substance other than history, just like the scripture that says, “Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof.”
If faith comes by hearing by the word of God, then what we hear defines not only what we believe but how we act.  If the information we get in filtered through the opinoin of the preacher then our faith becomes compromised because we are basing our faith on tradition rather than truth, thereby making us impotent.
Mr. Brown, I understand that you have a supernatural perspective of the Gospel that goes beyond just forgiveness, but the majority of churches just simply don’t believe what the scritpures say.  They conform the sciptures to their experience which is rank with powerlessness to change the physical world, rather than conforming their experiences to the Word of God.
I hope this answer makes sense…
