Well if you think about it prez Obama is just keeping  his campain promising  to the gay community. NOMATTER  how horrible and they are horrible , anywho I was so upset during the program  when I heard about the molesting of that innocent child I was so disarrayed  and down right angry that I felt like crying and screaming  at the same time. Where  is the press! where is the coverage! What is wrong with this country! You give a scam artist 150yrs for ripping off greedy people who didnt need financial help because they were doing pretty good on their own but that child had no say when he was being defiled by that perverted so called father. First of all he needs to be a man , then be a father. But now that its over he should never be given the chance to see the light of day again! Give him 150 yrs. A pervert like him should fit in naturally , maybe putting him in prison is doing him a favor , there are a lot like him there.Boy Dr.Brown Im praying  for the child and my brother I share your pain and frustration.

As a teenager living in this age, I don’t look forward to my future. The future looks bleak and our morals are going down the drain. It aches me to see this, as I have to live through Obama’s decisions. I don’t know what’s going to happen. It’s depressing.

The problem is clear, morals cannot exist in a vacuum–every moral compass requires a truth north.  Until people start asking what the ground is for their morals, there will be no true north.  There are only a finite number of alternatives for grounding morals (e.g. situational ethics, utilitarianism of John Stewart Mills etc.).  All of these can be shown to be philosophically bankrupt with the exception of grounding moral law in a moral law giver.  Until people realize this, the spiral will continue.  Since the advent of the Humanist manifesto we have seen a radical increase in divorce rates, births out of wedlock, violent crimes and suicide.  Nietzsche was right–when God died all value died with Him–at least among those who have announced His demise.

Good comment S. Johnson, but the problem is not so much that the secular humanists have taken over society – it’s that they’ve taken over the church!

Disgusting. I live in California, and I only heard of this Duke story once a couple of days ago, and that was only coming from a conservative commentator on the radio. I have heard nothing of this from lager media outlets. And I’m embarrassed to say… now that school is out, I watch television quite frequently. You think there would be more news coverage on a story like this.

      - On a side note, but I think this also is relevant to the Duke story..
I have heard it is not a rare occurrence in a adoption agency for two pedo-homosexual men to get together, and pretend to be a couple in order to have a greater chance for adoption. There was a story a couple years back about this:

“Gay couple left free to abuse boys – because  social workers feared being branded homophobic: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-480151/Gay-couple-left-free-abuse-boys–social-workers-feared-branded-homophobic.html

This was one of the very first homosexual couples in the UK to be officially approved as foster parents, so in the beginning it was not off to a good start.

      Nicole,

Thanks for the link to that very tragic story in the UK. May God help us!
