		<description>While I understand the concept of &quot;Desperation&quot;  I would also suggest that prayer and fasting are necessary and effective in times when we are not desperate. The point being that prayer and fasting is a lifestype, not a lifeboat.

A few callers had questions about fasting. I think this is a most excellent resource at a most excellent price (free).

		<description>I kind of see it like this, Jesus died for our sins, and through him we find forgiveness. If, however, we continue to sin thinking we can just ask to be forgiven only to just blatantly sin again, it&#039;s almost as if we have slapped God in the face. It&#039;s insulting to do something like that... 

We are saved but does that mean we won&#039;t mess up? Of course we will mess up, we aren&#039;t perfect. We may sin, but then if we are truly repentant, we will stop doing that sin, and turn to God for true grace.</description>
