Brother, I accept your rebuke.  Thank you!

I like Dr. Brown’s self-made sound effects. :) Seriously though, I think that anonymity isn’t the real issue, rather, slander, deceit, gossip, insults, et al are the main issues. If you hurt a brother or sister anonymously or in person, what real difference is there? I believe that we as Christians should focus on self-control of the tongue and our ‘typing fingers’ as Dr. Brown mentioned.

Keep up the great work Dr. Brown,
      Blessings,
      William Daniel

On the Lockerbie Bomber Release here’s a comment from my local paper: On expecting a mass killer to be “sensitive”

On the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America and Homosexuality, a friend of mine tells me: “In German, the adjective evangelische doesn’t really mean what we think by the term, but just ‘protestant’ or ‘non-Catholic’.”

      Ewan,

Yes, in German evangelische just means Protestant, but in America, Evangelical does not have that broad connotation, otherwise it would not be used as a title before the name of a Lutheran denomination. So, the ELCA is really misnamed, given its viewpoints.
