Bottom Line…The church dies because Christ isn’t the head, we aren’t doing all that he told us to do, we aren’t loving our enemies and blessing those who curse us, The Bible has ther answer to every problem in the world, We need to be showing people that this is in fact the truth through our actions…we die because we are hearers only!

M.B., Being in/of a fellowship that has not lost our youth’s vital participation it did not quite compute what you meant by “Fire” being the necessary component for young folks meaningful inclusion in a church. By this if you meant the fire of the Holy Spirit embraced from one’s soul, OK. But, if this meant “pump em up: and, whip em up” it has been shown over time that such meeting based behavior counts for little in reaching the inner person, making holiness happen, devotion pure, or, as the mystical Christian literature calls it the inner castle all persons have constructed over lifetimes change to allow God’s presence, no matter what the age. Letting the Lord into these inner facets of a personality means far more than NY externally contrived, pulpit orchestrated, and manipulated meeting based behavior. What is substantive then for Charismatics and Evangelicals alike ablut the inner person is about the heart first and foremost rather than some definitions of religious fire.
I feel it is important for you to offer a definition and description of Fire, and what that may look like in its various life, devotional, and fellowship participations, outcomes, and in this world deliverables to this needy state we live in.

Typo correction NY above should be “any”. I also feel that sending in a contribution to a media based minister so advertising and soliciting such a response as a formula of faith does not equate that God then will alike “bless” me. Formula faith is suspect in all its cloaks of manipulated and contrived participation. It leaves the sheep fleeced, but not fed.
