I don’t think it is an unforgivable sin, because twice I went to kill myself (seriously) and I was flooded with the presence of God, and has the sense that He was bidding me, “Come home into My arms.” Ofcourse, I didn’t do it, for various reasons, but I don’t think it is unforgivable.
Unforgivable = blasphemy of the Holy Ghost, which is difficult to occur since hardly anyone walks as in-step with the Holy Ghost as Jesus did, who was a perfect representation of the goodness of God, and when they saw the goodness, they said it was not good..

Daniel,
I’m sorry to hear about the struggles you passed through and, of course, it’s good to have you here with us.
May I say, though, with all due respect, that perhaps there was a deceptive voice saying “Come home into My arms,” since God would never want us to kill ourselves.

I was listening to the show about suicide, and I heard a man come on and say that no one in the bible committed this sin, apparently he has not read the story of Samson.Judges 16 chpt, can you all explain this story to me , because in it I dont see where Samson had lost his enternal life.(Samson said, let me die with the philistines. GOD gave him the power to push down the pillars and it says he killed more philistines .(Thus he killed many more when he died than while he lived.) verse (30)

He didn’t say it; I have spiritual vision and I saw Him open His arms, and I sensed Him say “come to me” – this freaked me out, because according to my understanding, I thought suicide was something you go to eternal torment for. Because of this, I thought one of the following must be true:
1 – God was talking to me, but I was trying to run AWAY from God (at the time) so I didn’t want to kill myself and go to Him (this is no longer the case)
or
2 – I was SO deceived that I actually thought God would welcome me into His arms if I committed suicide.
I’ve never committed suicide, so I don’t know either way, BUT recently I went to commit suicide like three weeks ago or four weeks ago I think, and I felt the presence of God fill my body, and once again, sensed Him saying, “come, I am waiting for you with open arms” Once again, I decided that it was too much of a chance to take, so I didn’t.
God has been “working on me” since I posted my comment about having erred from the truth, perhaps you have prayed for me? I truly appreciate it. It hasn’t been “pretty” but that’s all fine with me, just bring me back to You, Lord! Thanks again. I think you’re a wonderful blessing to the body of Christ by God’s grace, and I hope one day I can be a blessing, too.
