Thanks Michael,

Do you know of a website that has an online Mishna? I am working here in Philly as an evangelist to the Jewish people. My wife and I are Jewish believers.

God bless,

Rob,

Be careful to look at the citations. If it says m. before the citation, that means Mishnah; if it says b. it means Babylonian Talmud, etc. So, you're looking for a tractate in the Mishnah here, not one from the Talmud.

That being said, if you're totally unfamiliar with these sources, you should read some solid introductions to the literature first to get oriented. You can find helpful references in my book What Do Jewish People Think About Jesus.

Joel,

Yes, exactly right! I only learned that after the book was printed. So, yes, the Spanish is no exception either. It's Jacob all the way.

Dr. Brown:

I was reading in your book "Revolution in the Church" your comment on the name Santiago (Jacob/James) in the end notes, just for you to know that Santiago stand for San (saint) iago (Yacob).

God Bless!!! may His kingdom come!!

When I try to find thngs that are mentioned in your books int he Talmud, I have a very difficult time. Is there a resource that would help me get a handle on how to find things. For example on page 123 in section 2 of Vol. 1 of Answering Jewish Objections to the Jesus, you mention m.Sotah 9:15. I searched an online Talmud and while I could find Sotah 9, I could not find the section that refers to Micah 7:6 (family conflict with the ocming of the Messiah).
