Praise be to God! I was afraid I had forgotten what it was like to grieve. My heart was stirred listening to the young girl calling out to the Lord. It provoked me to tears. I can’t remember the last time I so was vulnerable. I found myself reflecting on the need for revival, both personally and corporately, on how sweet it was when I first got saved and the peace and joy that till that moment had been a mystery to me. But, suddenly we arrived at the break and the noise (music) completely removed me from that moment of introspection. It became clear to me that mixing light with darkness (praise w/ rock n roll) impairs us spiritually. What does the bible say about music?

David,
I’m blessed to hear that your heart was stirred until the break, but what “rock music” were you speaking of? As far as I know, the only music that airs as part of my show is solid gospel music written and recorded by solid believers.

Let’s pray, pray, fast, and weep. Weep for our lives, families, cities, and nations. Let God visit the earth like never before!! The message of repentence spread in every congregation, town, city and nation with the power of the Holy Spirit and the name of Jesus. Lets pray that all Israel get saved.
Pray for my family and for me brothers and sisters I want the name of the Lord lifted high in the world!!!

David Rock and Roll in and of itself is not bad, it’s the message behind it. I’d like to know what you mean by Rock and Roll though… Do you count Hillsong as Rock? Or do you mean anything with drums? Let me tell you that those kind of songs drove me to deep repentance to the point of weeping on my knees. What does the bible say about Music David? Here is some scripture that may surprise you.
1 Sing for joy to God our strength; shout aloud to the God of Jacob! 2 Begin the music, strike the tambourine, play the melodious harp and lyre. Psalm 81:1
4 Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth, burst into jubilant song with music; 5 make music to the Lord with the harp, with the harp and the sound of singing, 6 with trumpets and the blast of the ram’s horn— shout for joy before the Lord, the King. Psalm 98:4
3 Praise him with the sounding of the trumpet, praise him with the harp and lyre, 4 praise him with tambourine and dancing, praise him with the strings and flute, 5 praise him with the clash of cymbals,
praise him with resounding cymbals. Psalm 150:3
It seems most of the musical instruments of the day were used. Cymbals were included, which is an early form of drumming, and so were harps and lyres. Those grew up to be guitars. Whatever music may be played, we must listen to its message though. This article may also be of interest to you.

I quite like the music that leads the break.
