      Dr. Brown,
sInce you identify with Ladd’s eschatology, how do you handle this?

Ladd identifies the Church as the spiritual Israel to whom the promises of the Old Testament are to be applied.

      Hmmmm.

      Bill,

Obviously, I don’t agree with every detail, but remember: Since he holds to a literal millennial kingdom, he does not see the Church as displacing Israel.

My biggest point of agreement is his emphasis on realized eschatology, “already but not yet.” That seems to me totally self-evident in the Scriptures.

How were you baptized Dr. Brown? In Jesus name or in the name of the Father, Son, Holy Spirit?

If you don’t wish to answer that is fine, although I think you answered this once on a previous show.

Actually, my pastor would say, “In the name of the Father, Jesus Christ the Son, and the Holy Spirit” — just to cover his bases! :)
