How can it be that so many believers attend church services without being changed? How is it that for one whole generation, the world has been changing the American church rather than the church changing the world?

Hour 1:

Dr. Brown’s Bottom Line: We are standing on the sidelines waiting for something to happen when it will be our time to take a stand. That time has long since passed. It is past time for us to stand but the door is still open. The Lord says to each of us, “Arise and shine! It is time for your light to impact the darkness!”

Is Mary Really the “Mother of God”?

Catholics believe that Mary is “the Mother of God,” a co-mediator with Jesus, herself sinless and virgin born. They even believe that she ascended to heaven. What do the Scriptures say?

Hour 1:

Dr. Brown’s Bottom Line: God sent His son into the world, that through Him we might be saved. Jesus has been given the highest name in the universe because He humbled himself to come in form of servant, died a criminal’s death, and has been highly exalted. May all the honor and glory go to Him and praise be to the Father!

Hour 2:

Dr. Brown’s Bottom Line: There is no question that there are many issues that divide Catholic and Protestant, and that we deeply differ on the position of Mary. Let us then exalt and preach Jesus: crucified, risen, exalted, and coming again!

What is the best book regarding the Dead Sea scrolls with them in English? How would Dr. Brown describe his beliefs in just a couple of words? What resources would Dr. Brown recommend to use giving the best Messianic Jewish perspective on Romans?

Hour 1:

Dr. Brown’s Bottom Line: I don’t get into Catholic bashing or a lot of doctrinal issues that divide and I major on those that are major. But I’ll say this, Jesus, Yeshua, gets the attention and honor, to the glory of God the Father, and anything that detracts from that is absolutely wrong.

Hour 2:

Dr. Brown’s Bottom Line: I’ve said it many times before, but there are many doctrines vying for your attention and there’s often much confusion between one church and another. I encourage you to major on the majors. Put first things first. Exhault the Lord and determine to be intimate with Him and bear much fruit that will last. You can’t miss doing that!

Why Israel’s Preservation and Salvation Should Matter to all Believers

Should all Christians care about Israel? Is Israel’s preservation and salvation of importance to all believers? Dr. Brown provides Biblical and historical responses that say the answer to all these questions is “Yes.”

Hour 1:

Dr. Brown’s Bottom Line: God is a covenant keeping God. What God says He will do, He will do, and if God broke His promises to Israel, He could break His promises to the church. Jesus yet awaits a Jewish Jerusalem that will welcome Him back to earth.

Hour 2:

Dr. Brown’s Bottom Line: Yes, there are plenty of areas where we have room for disagreement, and there is difference within the body. I urge all of you to ask for God’s heart for the lost sheep of the house of Israel. I believe this is something He wants to give to everyone.
